87? Trek Elance 400 swap meet find
Saw the 531 logo and spastically bought this one. It wasn't just the 531 vintage treks are not exactly easy to come across in the swap meet. So it's all original with some minor cosmetic issues no dents or dings. Guy was asking $100 I gave him $80. So worst case scenario I keep the wheels and part it out.

In my area, overhauled, that is a $200-250 bike. Nice pick up.

Sure it was a great deal but if you don't want it why did you buy it?

I've got one that started out as a frame only. I can't imagine a more fun vintage to build up and ride. Brazes for everything, very easy internal cable routing for rear, nice paint, good looking, comfortable... Your's looks all original down to the bar tape!

I had something like this. Paint was off, and it was tiny. I think the paint hurt it. I got $160 for it. It road great.
