Sheriff Star Wheelset

I have a Campy sheriff star wheelset with Campy Lambda rims (32 hole) and a Regina 8-speed freewheel (13-23) in very nice condition (disregard the mismatched tires) with extremely low miles complete with mint Record skewers and I was wondering what I would expect these to go for on eBay or on the Forum for that matter. I really have no experience in this area. Thanks! Here is a slideshow ......

Thanks for any info!!!

They appear to be in great shape. I'm sure there are collectors slobbering right now. They are pretty, like bike bling. Can't tell you what they are worth, but upwards of $350.00 wouldn't surprise me.

As is often the case, sometimes selling the hubs and rims separately will prove more lucrative. Shipping wheels is cost prohibitive to some folk, and other have specific preference for rims or lacing that your set might not meet.

On the other hand, it's possible your particular wheel build has some special significance I'm unaware of, so don't rush to unlace them after you read my comments here until more knowledgeable members chime in.

great looking wheels and hubs. I tought I was the only one brave or fol hardy enought to space those out to 8spd. I have considered selling mine to get a pair of those Electra hubs but then I have to figure out how to make them work for campi 8spd

the track version of these hubs typically pull $400-500 for the hubs alone. for a built road set, i'd expect $350, maybe as high as $450 if you get lucky on an eBay auction.

"Shimano" fit cogs, campagnolo fit cog spacer kit. Already was thinking the same thing.

For the original poster: A good chance the hubs would fetch more than the complete wheels even though they are Campagnolo rims. The recent ebay transaction prices for used high flange C Record hub sets have been obscene, well from a buyer's perspective.
