Not sure if this is worth anything? Maybe Reynolds 531 frame?

Found this beater on craigslist, might buy it just for frame but having a hard time telling if frame is even worth it? Any help? Does this look like steel 531 frame?

Thanks folks...

I believe Schwinn only used Reynolds 531 on two models, that doesn't look like either one of those. It does look like a higher end model, worth checking out.

What makes you think it's Reynolds 531? Just looks like a Schwinn from the 80s to me.

Pictures are so close up they're almost useless. Model? Drivetrain? Picture of the whole bike?

That looks like a Japanese made Schwinn from the early 80's these typically had good frames of better quality tubing usally Tange but not 531 Reynolds. As mentioned above Schwinn seldom used 531 tubing but this bike
worth checking out if the price good.

That style brake caliper and bottom bracket tended to show up on lower end bikes. Odds of being 531, close to zero. Seat post is pretty decent (good sign). Looks like a repaint, that will hurt value.
