Marinoni

So I decided to get a bike I could use now, without any repairs or so, since I'm in Quebec I thought a Marinoni would be nice.

Here some quick photo of it, Could someone give more info

Looks like a nice find. We'd need some better photos so we can actually see all of the bike and shots of components. Also, a list of all the parts you can read the names from or identify. What is the frame size ? Look through some other posts and check out the photos. The clearest most complete posts will get the best and most concise answers.

Cheers,

Joe

It was a craptacular deal, you overpaid. Unless you post more photos. Then it was a great deal.

Three hundred for a Marinoni is excellent for you and too bad for the seller, in my opinion. I have owned several Marinoni bicycles, the two most loved include my 1976 Marinoni Quebec and my 2000 Squadra. Both offered excellent ride quality and neither would be offered for anything near what you paid. Congrats!

I recently paid $325 for a clean Marinoni that was 10 years older with Shimano 105 parts on it, including downtube shifters. So yes, you got a great price, and a sweet bike.

I think that you might be able to get $500 to $800 for it if you were in Toronto or Montreal, but I am no Campi expert.

1994 eh? Does your serial number start with 4? I am trying to understand the numbering method.

That serial number makes sense, I could not see the 4 in your picture. If you look at Kijiji Quebec you will see some Marinoni bikes roughly like yours. This one with Shimano 600 and updated brifter brake levers has a ask of $950, so maybe my estimate is a touch low.

Athena is several levels higher than Mirage.
