Early to Mid 90's Specialized Allez Comp
This is an 8 speed, all Shimano 105, 55 cm lugged frame bike. Appears to be all original with very little wear; paint is great. Pretty much as good as you can get condition wise in a 20 year old bike. I was thinking about posting on CL for $375; am I in the right ballpark?

I think you might be able to get more. If I were you, I would clean the drivetrain and replace the chain, maybe even ad new tires then offer it for $495.

it is a very sweet a neat bike. More eye pleasing and eye catching than what specialized builds now

It's a nice bike, but $500? I don't think it will sell at that price. $300 definitely, but probably not much more.
IMO it's too new to appeal to the vintage crowd, but too old to appeal to someone looking for a newer road bike. At the $400 and $500 price point buyers will want STI shifting.

It's a nice bike, but $500? I don't think it will sell at that price. $300 definitely, but probably not much more.
IMO it's too new to appeal to the vintage crowd, but too old to appeal to someone looking for a newer road bike. At the $400 and $500 price point buyers will want STI shifting.

I think they are great too, and 8-speed 105 is probably one of the most solid groups ever made. Still, I think any more than $300 will be a tough sell unless you're in a hot market.

It would be nice to get $350ish, but I'm guessing closer to $300 will be where it will sell.

Nice bike - it's red, which helps.
If you're going the CL route, wait for the season to start and list it at $375. You'll probably walk away with $325 to $350.
