If it's aluminum, which it looks like, it's the Dream.
Lovely paint! How's the ride?

Thanks for your reply, appreciate it! I'll look it up straight away.
I guess it's aluminum because it weighs about 8kg (17.6 pounds). A nice name for this bike btw
The ride's great, I never rode as fast as with this one. Yet it's my first real racebike. One drawback is that the bike's too small for me, I get fierce backaches after 30min or so.
The frame's approx 55cm (22inch?) and I'm 1,84m (about 72.4 tall). I tried to adapt it a bit yet I still ache after taking a spin.
Any advice except visiting a doctor ?

There should be a Columbus sticker on the seat tube saying Altec 2, which is the type of aluminum tubes the bike is made from. If not, you could always use a magnet to test it, but I'm pretty sure it's the aluminum Dream model.
That bike gets great ride reviews, hence the name Dream. Supposed to be a really quick handler, and real solid and quiet at speed, especially downhill. Abit on the harsh side though. To bad it's not your size, but it's perfect for me! Not to much you can do but raise the seat some, although not past the high mark, and maybe try a longer bar stem to stretch out the cockpit. Not exactly vintage, but a very cool bike!
