hi - am still looking for bikes for my 2 sons and I came across this local kijiji ad...

That is a good solid basic bike. It looks like it could use a good batch and maybe an overhaul. $250 seems a bit high but I understand Tronto is a hot market.

yes - I noticed that too.... vintage bikes is a hot market and demands high price here in Toronto...
and if its a good deal - the ads would not last more that few hours ...
(when I bought my Bianchi Strada 2 weeks ago, I was the 4th person who answered the ad which went online after 6 minutes...
and there was a guy waiting to inspect the bike while I knocked on the door to speak with the owner...
so I informed the lady who is selling the bike that I will go for a very long test ride...
as I really do not want to negotiate with the owner while the next guys is waiting and breathing down my neck... )
