Olympia sprint
Hello everyone,
I am a total newbie here so hope I am in the right forum.
I have owned and Olympia Spring since 1956. It was brought over from Italy a few years before and was given to me by a family friend. Needless to say, as a 4th grader with the very 1st deraileur anyone( including myself) had ever seen, I was a big deal, lol. I rode the bike almost daily to school and when I moved on to high school and college, it became garage fixture. Around 1966, I started riding again and did so for a few years off and on and then it once again was relegated to the garage where it has been for the last 40-50 years. I had it repainted from the original silver color to white and blue pearl with gold striping which at the time made it like a new bike. I will try to post photos but in the event I cannot, I do have pictures.
Please, if anyone has an interest, let me know as I do want it to go where it will be appreciated and not to a srap heap somewhere. I also would appreciate some idea of it's wworth as where I am now living, there are a lot of riders, but very few shops.
Thank you
Vic
