Schwinn Prelude// bianchi Premio
I was taking a look at both of these bikes that are at the same place. Not really comparing each of them but looking at them more as a fix up enjoy and them move them on to another owner, if the prices are good that is. The Schwinn Prelude is the Columbus Tenax frame and looks pretty decent except it has a broken front derailleur on it, they wanted $120 for that. The other bike is a Bianchi Premio that look like its in decent shape as well. From the pictures I couldn't make out what the tubing was on it, but overall it looked pretty clean, they were asking $200 for that one. I don`t have much knowledge when it comes to late 80s schwinns and Bianchi`s in general, so any help is much appreciated! thanks

Still learning
In the right hands the 1989 Prelude can be made into a very compelling rider. Pretty good price too.
I have been riding the 1986 Prelude, shown below, a fair amount lately. But since it was supposed to be my Florida bike, but ended up in Michigan (don't ask), it will be on the block soon. Plus I -already have a pink 1987 Prelude, not to mention about done refitting a pristine Trek 560.

The photo makes the drive side crankarm of the Schwinn look bent. It could be a photo illusion or it could be related to the broken derailleur.
The Bianchi Premio is an early 1990s model. The tubeset under the Bianchi Superset 2 decal should be Tange Infinity.
Maybe it's just me but the Bianchi looks like a larger frame, in which case the fit would be the biggest factor in the decision. Both bicycles are AccuShift equipped, so neither would be particularly appealing to me.
