Vintage Bianchi ID & Value help

I Just bought this from one of my customers (novice picker) who recently purchased it from a " former racer " that was moving and didn't want to take it with him . I'm Looking for any help in identifying this frame , components and potential value as it sits. It does have some spots of paint-loss and a few spots of surface rust. Looks like all Campy components but I'm not sure which group. Also has Gipiemme dropouts.
Thanks in advance ,

Bianchi decals are 1988-1989, Columbus decal is SLX, components appear to be Chorus, which would add up to a Super Leggerra.

Are the brake calipers CampI? They look more like Nuovo or Super Record, they are not Chorus thats for sure.

They are an early version of Campagnolo Nuovo Record brakes, note the flat QR tab, and missing the original pad and holders. Campagnolo Chorus brakes are much different and use a QR built into the lever.

The brake calipers that came on that bike look like this, minus the blue Cobalto gem, there was just a conical cap nut.

Sorry for the hijack, but I have to ask,....
Do you mean a first gen Chorus caliper is only a blue gemmed cap nut away from becoming a "Cobalto"??

Far from an expert here, but the brakes look "earlier" than 1988. Can one of you Campy experts set me staight?

Yes, the brakes are incorrect and are pre-1983.

Oh yeah '89 Super Leggera. I had a '88 with the SL frame and it was a great ride but this should be fantastic.
