Looks to be a OK deal nice lesser mid level Italian bike from the early 70's that has been upgraded some. A lot of the components are not original as the add states but appear to be slight upgrades, derailleurs, brakes, seat post and rims nice stuff that's mostly vintage correct about the only part that I could say for sure is original would be the crank. As nice basic steel frame bike that has been nicely upgraded I would say the price is about right for a smaller market.

its well worth $300 id say- its got the bling factor of chrome lugs and decent components all around- flite seat, thought out color coordination. seems like someone put thought into the bike for that alone its a good deal.

Changes include the saddle, post, wheels, derailleur pulleys and brakeset. Everything else appears to be OEM based on other samples I've seen. The steel Gran Sport cranksets have become collectible. I'd say this is a good deal.

+1 Excellent value.

IIRC there were two models of these brought in ~1973. This is the lower one.

Original wheels on this model would have been Nuovo Tipo hubs with tubular rims.

Original brakes would have been Universal 68.

Original pillar & saddle Nitor.

Chainset is Sport Nr. 3320, launched 1971.

The lady's face on the head emblem with the bouffant hairdo is the actual Mirella, head of the company, a steel fabricator.

Should you make the purchase the forum has had a number of threads on these bikes.

You can use the search function to pull them up in case you'd like to learn more regarding their history.

Mirella not normally a part of the cycle trade. Their manufacture seems to have been a one-time event to use up some tubing sets, or at least so the story goes within the trade.

This frame is very similar to a Cinelli frame I have. The lug work and BB cable guide are the same.
The color is the same as my Cinelli.

Wondering if this is a "distributors" brand, private labeled.

The bottom bracket brand/style would shed more light on this.

It has some condition issues...the weld around the BB had a small cracking issue?....was crazy. It was super clean, vey little rust and pitting but the welds around the BB and the top tube where the seat post and rear stays met also didn't look good at all on the inside. I know a really good welder that works for Boeing so I would have still purchased it but the seller would not take anything less than $300. I passed....oh well.

That frame is not welded. It's lugged and brazed. Attempting to weld on it would be a crime (and impossible), so perhaps it's best you passed on it.
