The iconic big "C" head badge appeared on Centurion bikes from their beginning in the 70's until around 1984 - 1985. After that, the Centurion head badge logo was painted on. The late 80's paint schemes also became much crazier. By the late 80's Centurion bikes all looked like they were on an acid trip. The best "C" headbadge bikes were made in the early 80's. Look for Centurion Comp T/A and Elite models. These bikes should bear "Champion" by Tange tube set stickers. Bikes should weigh in between 21.5 to 24 lbs.
