I think I can get it for around USD 275. It’d be my first Merckx, and is replacing a 1991 Waterford built Paramount (True Temper OS tubing). So any views on the side by side quality of both frames would be appreciated as well.

Did you end up getting it? That's a cool deal. Anything less than $400 for that frame and fork is a great deal (in my neck of the woods).
