1995 era Mongoose Rockadile mtn bikes. $400 new each back then. They could use a tune up but that's really all. Really not been used but taken on road trips with the RV. Medium frames. Tires still look new, alloy frames (very light weight), sealed bearings and cranks. Really would like to sell as a pair. Asking $300 for the pair or make an offer.

I can see Exage on the crank, so I'm assuming it's the full group. In that case, '93, not '95, as the '93 had Exage whereas '94 onward switched to STX:

They're decent low-end bikes with 26" wheels and cantis. I'm neutral on the adjustable stems - easier to dial in fit, but at the expense of stem flex. Top tube cable routing is a nice touch. Price is FMV during the current pandemic bike boom.

Thanks, bargainguy . Yet again, I'll pass. They'll find a good home, if they haven't already.

Bikes: 1995 Mongoose Rockadile SX

I've been riding a 1995 SX which is forest green for 25 years. Solid. Looks different to this though, the sx has a shock, aluminum frame, etc. These look like steel frame, will probably last longer than AL

+1, these appear to have a mix of Exage ES & LT, both of which were 1993 only. Frames actually show a Tange decal, specs lists CrMo but don't mention butting. Decent but nothing special. Both forks are very scarred. IMO, I wouldn't go over $200 for the pair.
