antique bike

Hi, can anybody tell me what kind of bike this is? I was told it was a schwinn stingray. To me it looks like a schwinn hornet or schwinn tornado. All the parts on it are schwinn, but im not sure what brand the frame is.

Not a Hornet or Tornado either. It is not a Schwinn frame or fork at all.

For the original poster-

There are a bunch of reasons to point quickly to this.

Look closely to the area where the rear axle will attach, the rear dropouts. Look at almost any period elecrtoforged Schwinn. Schwinn did not use spot welding, completely different rear dropouts were used by them.
