Tourist - Made in England - Sport Model?

I found another vintage bicycle at a local shop and have been digging around these forums and the internet trying to find information, and besides a bunch of Schwinn/Raleigh Tourist references I've come up empty handed.

Does anyone here know anything about the bicycle in the photos?

It says "Tourist - Made in England" on the head badge and I'm guessing it says "Sports Model" on the down tube underneath the tape. It has Benelux derailleurs, brooks seat, wing nuts on the wheels, and some amazingly huge awesome reflectors on the front and back!

Take a look at how big the 2nd chain ring is up front! It's only a few teeth smaller than the big ring. No pain relief there on the hills, lol.

As far as region goes I'm in the Central Texas area, and the size of the bike is too big for me (ugh). I'd put it in the 54 - 56 cm range by just eye balling it.

What do you all think this is and do you know anything about these bikes or their value?

Get a shot of the rear drop outs. The gearing and Benelux stuff suggests 1960s, the reflectors were surely added later on. Seems pretty low end though.

Finally got around to getting those extra pictures... do these shots help identify this thing? Any one have any information on this bike or the manufacturer? The rear derailleur looks like it was replaced since it's a Shimano and not Benelux.

Can't tell if it's super low end or just really old. Or both. What is the wheel size? They look smaller than normal 700c/27" wheels.
