Paramount
I have a 50th anniversary Schwinn Paramount with Dura Ace equipment (55cm frame). I had it painted to original specs and decals and haven''t ridden it much since then. It is in great shape except for the saddle (which looks bad, but is comfy to me).
Any ideas on what this bike might be worth for sale? I'm considering buying a touring bike and need the money for that. (I have another road bike that I ride much more often than the Paramount.). Thanks for any replies!

Welcome to the forums. There is actually a subforum for apprasails hopefully a Mod will move it shortly.
Do you have any pics? Who painted it? were original decals applied or what was current at the time of repaint? I am not Paramount expert but I know newer bikes, like from the '80s, don't get the same respect and money as older ones.

It's a good size for selling and a desirable frame. I have an '89 myself and it's just a killer ride. Mine was repainted by Waterford, who did an amazing job - any ideas on who sprayed yours? The quality of the paint can make a big difference on these particular bikes.

'89 is the 50th Annv? is that a Paramout? or a PDG? I don't know when the change was.

If you want to know what they sell for it seems like there are a couple on E--Bay every month starting in the Spring through the Fall. You could do a completed auction search and find out what the actual selling prices were and if the bike really sold. Roger

Without pics, no idea, but ebay will give you some info. Search completed auctions only, as sellers can ask ridiculous prices, but usually do not get them. On a local sale, figure about 50% to 75% of ebay prices. And your ability to market the bike is critical.
