I found a Trek on CL, and the man who was selling also had this Moto for sale that wasn't listed yet. He asked $200 and I got it for $150. It was heavily ridden and well maintained. I believe every thing is original except seat post and rims.
Pretty dirty and well "aged" but rides an shifts well.
I love vintage things but I am not currently a road bike rider and thought the seat tube is right, I feel cramped with the short top tube. Before messing with stem swapping , though I'd ask you guys what I got.....

Thats one of the bikes at the top of my list of wanted bikes. So my value may be inflated. But I think there are plenty of guys out there, me included, that would pay upwards of $500 for that bike. Maybe more come summertime. Thats one beautiful bike.

Still learning
You stole it!
+1 on $500, it needs work, but it has a Brooks.

Swap the stem and ride it! Make sure to re-grease the bearings first. It might have been well maintained at one point, but it doesn't look like it's been touched since the 80s.

That is a very neat bike - love the patina on the white paint parts. Again, not original in the the brakes were "upgraded" with Superbs and the orig. stem replaced with that stumpy. I wonder if those are the original wheels with their Tipo hubs. Maybe...
