Bike Mystery / Mystery Bike (?)
I picked this up today for free, should test my de-rusting skills. I've tried my best to research the brand, but with absolutely success. The Overall bike is a 'Commodore', crankset has 'Pointer' cast on the arm and again I can't find any info on this either. It's a low end 10 speed, but what the hell is it? Anyone? I'm starting to think it might have been accidentally left here by aliens.

I'm assuming low-end early/mid eighties Taiwan manufactured, but I'd be really interested in any other bits of info on the history or which country the brand relates to. Here are some more photos:
