70s Raleigh Grand Prix
It was my wife's dad and neither of us ride it. Too big for us and we both have other bikes. It's the red one in this post from Sheldon Brown (thanks for the great info on everying bike related in his site).
Retro Raleighs: The Grand Prix
Everything looks original and working (needs cleaning and tune up for sure)
Any idea of the value?
Thanks!!
Marc

Condition and location are important, but as is (from your description, without actually seeing it) probably $100 - $150 depending on market.

Location is Northern Virginia (Alexandria) and condition is good. Everything works. Nothing missing. Some pics.

Still learning
That bike is for a rider from about 5'4"-5'7". It is in fair condition. IMHO, FMV is $140 +/- as pictured.

If you spent a bit of time on it...cleaning it up a bit and replacing cables, etc., it would probably climb up to the 225-250 range in the Atlanta market where I am. As is, agree with Oddjob that it is about 140ish...
As is often mentioned here, visuals are quite key...

I guess I was not that far off I was asking for $200. But what I'll do is clean it up and tune it, and if it does not sell I'll ride it. I mentioned that it felt big to me (I'm about 5.6) but according to oddjob2 it should be ok.
Thank you everyone for your input!!
