The catalog on Bulgier's site suggests this would be SLX, but I suppose it would depend on the dating. I don't know how long the Designer '84 was in production, maybe since 1984, given the name.

The difference between SLX and SL get much smaller on 54's and smaller. It's a great frame non the less.

This frame makes me wonder how much to ship it straight over to Italy, get it refinished and a fork made by THE MAN.
I like his new stuff, but visually I like this one more.

I actually think that this frame would make an amazing piece of art hanging up just the way it is. The rust and wear are accumulations of stories. Hang it as is in place of that predictable Thomas Kinkade.
