rhm#152, a recycled Fujita Belt saddle frame
$115 shipped in the contiguous 48 states.
Thick leather, 12 mm brass rivets. The stamps are based on coins of ancient Carthage. The Belt saddle frame has a shape similar to a Brooks Narrow (B.17n etc).
As shown in the photos, the leather is unfinished. On request I can dye it black or dark brown, finished with an acrylic resolene; both of which are very attractive; or I can apply a beeswax paste that will allow the leather to darken naturally, reaching a rich dark brown. You can never predict exactly how dark the natural color will get, but almost always looks pretty great.
This is an example of a saddle dyed brown, with the brown resolene finish.
