Rear wheel: Norm Comp Luxe HF BSC hub on vintage Mavic tubular rim

I offered this wheel to spock345 when he put out the call for this model rear hub with BSC threading, but made the deal to him for the entire wheel and he could unlace the Normandy Comp Luxe (gold label) high-flange hub from the (Thanks, Lynn!) AVA red label tubular rim with 4X zinc-plated steel spokes (backwards "R" on heads: Redaelli?)...or not.
He went with a pair of Campy hubs so this wheel is on the block for any C&Ver to buy: $25 local pickup in SF Bay Area, or plus shipping via BikeFlights to your address.
Hub is smooth and wheel spins true but I never mounted a tire, opened up the hub or used this one on a bike, can't even remember where I got it, so sold totally as-is.

I can probably find a good FR skewer for it but that will be additional $.

Ask me any questions, tell me any errors (like what brand that rim is) by PM.

Note: the black lockring is not FS, just threaded on to prove that these are BSC threads.

Also to add I have the hub shell, axle, and one good cone of a normandy luxe competition front hub should anyone want that.

I really wish you lived next to me. My '70 TdF desperately needs this replacement wheel.

Sold, it would appear...thanks short-term memory loss!
I DO have a couple of wheels that may or may not be suitable replacement bait/consolation prize:
One is a front wheel with small-flange Normandy red-label (Comp Luxe?) red seal hub and a Mavic sew-up rim
Another is a rear wheel with medium-flange Maillard Helicomatic hub and 6-speed cluster, it's 125-126 OLN spacing so it's a true 6 speed. Also counted sprockets and it's 14-26, teeth are in good shape. It spins remarkable smooth considering the bad press that Helicomatics get...also on a Mavic sew-up rim.
I can take pix if anybody's innerestid.

EDIT: upon checking the Helicomatic hub is 126 OLN spacing (so a real 6-speed) and the gear cluster is 14/26, the Mavic rim seems in good shape, the spokes are SS.

I'll look closely at the small-flange Normandy wheel and report back soon.

It would have been a direct replacement. Thanks for the offers though.

I'm on the lookout for silver 36 hole tubulars for the 72 PX10

Thx - Joe
