Old school Avocet goodness.
I bought these NOS in January and rode one for about a month (~100 miles smooth roads) and the other for about a week (20mi). They still have lots of nubs. $45 + shipping.

These are truly awesome tires. I did a cross country in '97. My original set of tires died on my fairly early on and I picked these up. They held up like a champ through a heck of a lot of miles and with a lot of weight. Plus they handle very well.

Those were the tires on my Performance Parabola when I bought it a couple years ago. The sidewalls were turning to dust, so I never got to try them out. Too bad, as they still had a lot of tread. Mine were 32 IIRC.
