WTB: ~60cm c-c ST, ~56-58 c-c top tube steel frame+fork for modern conversion
I have been toying with the idea of a steel frame with modern components. I like the aesthetics of my vintage bikes but I am enjoying riding my modern carbon bike with 7900 Dura Ace more. I find my 62cm c-t seat tube Raleighs with 56cm top tubes have been pretty good for fitting, although my modern 2011 Size 57 BMC RM-01 Road Machine' seems to be the best fit with a 120mm stem.
Looking for a frame and fork that can be easily moved over to modern components:
Size ~60cm c-c ST, ~56-58cm c-c top tube
Excellent paint, no repainting required. I do like the look of the Serotta Colorado II, Tricolor schemes, neons, and I do like a good elegant 70s look like my Raleigh International/Professional.
Recessed brake bolts/brake reach for 700c to be standard short reach 39-49mm.
Clearance for 700-25c tires
Can be easily respaced to 130mm, if not already.
BSC bottom bracket preferred but can go Italian.
Braze-on front derailleur hanger a bonus but I can get a clamp.
Will have a new blocky 5800/6800/R8000 black/dark grey groupset on it so has to look at home with that.
Reynolds 531, Columbus SL, tubing of that ilk.
Let me know your shipped price to 98281.
Beer budget, no champagne. Champagne on beer budget appreciated.

Not sure if it fits any of your boxes, but I have a 1981 Bianchi Limited Frame in Metallic Rootbeer with Nashbar Carbon fork.
Frame is 61 ST CTC and 55 TT CTC.
Paint is in good condition with a few small chips. One small sent in TT from Handlebars spinning. No clamp on FD. English BB.
Decals would need to be replaced.

This fits a lot of your criteria except paint is a definite so so. Can’t say I’m disappointed there isn’t much interest, because I really like it, but still available.

Not steel, but how about an '88 Cannondale SR frame in that size? Blueberry with yellow sponge paint factory accents, classic look, light, fast, steel fork. Works well with 11 speed Shimano. I've built several of them (one for my spin instructor), and they fly. Just finishing up a BL with 5800, works like it was made for it.
Fits your beer budget, too.

Well. That's embarrassing. Two crappy pics and can't upload the one decent one I took this afternoon. Darn.
