You must have a warehouse full of Campy parts by now. Or do you have a warehouse full of bikes that you're putting these parts on as you buy them?

Warehouse full of crap for sure, not even close on the Campy parts but could put some bikes together if I would get off my lazy you know what.

And what about you, headed to VC for the sale?

I'll probably just stop by on Sunday and pick through the scraps.

Not sure what I'll do, asked about the red Merz at the first party and Sky was more optimistic about the price than I was so probably not going to be #5 , we'll see.

Yeah? He's saying "liquidation prices" this weekend, but what is the liquidation price on bikes as rare as some of those he has? On the other hand, I was there last weekend and the prices he had on the more common bikes that were out then seemed like sub-craigslist prices.

Exactly, probably no real liquidation prices on the desirable ones and our CL is on the moon 99% of the time imo.

That's true. The one that made me think sub-CL was $70 for a Raleigh Grand Prix. That's not an amazing price for what it is obviously, but anything with two wheels and a chain has an asking price over $100 on our CL. There's someone on there right now trying to sell a fixie converted Grand Prix for $250.

And yet I had to find out about a $500 Merz from here, the seller said nobody else even knew what it was, go figure.
