Chains of Hope Classic-Vintage Rebuilds
Hi all, I'm new to the forum but wanted to just introduce myself and my little hobby/pastime involving vintage bikes. I refurbish/rebuild/restore vintage bikes and resell them donating ALL profits to charitable missions. You can check out my website gallery page for prior projects as well as "Current Projects" page for bikes I currently have in queue.

I plan to offer completed bikes on here rather than just the local (Nashville, TN) sales I've done thus far. All projects include stripping bike to the bare frame, overhaul (or replace if required) of bottom bracket and headset, new cables/housings, etc.
Through this ministry, I've been able to help send people on mission trips to Haiti, Africa, and Greece, purchase food and clothes for local needy, and many other worthy causes.
I welcome any feedback you have about how I could improve my bike rebuilds or anything that could help further this cause.
Look forward to having complete bikes to share on here.
Thanks,
Kevin

It might be hard to sell overhauled complete bikes on here because most C&V members are looking for good deals and want to overhaul and customize the bikes themselves. Having said that, if your prices are good you'll probably be able to sell pretty well on here.
Good luck!

You might improve your profit margins selling parts as opposed to completed bikes. As noted, the average C&V member restores bikes for themself and is therefore motivated to find and purchase just the right piece to finish off a project. Good luck.
