Pre 1972 Campagnolo Nuovo Record Seatpost-26.8-VGC-$60
THE ITEM HAS SOLD! This is a pre 1972 Campagnolo Nuovo Record 26.8 seatpost given that it has no minimum insertion line. I aggressively polished it above the typical insertion line location and removed just about all of the zigzag scratches on the part that would be visible. No scratches at all on the front Campagnolo Globe or the “Patent Campagnolo” or 26.8 engravings. I was less aggressive on the lower portion that would not be visible so that it would remain true to size and round. Those zigzags remain but they are now smoother. The adjustment bolts are in excellent shape. This is a NICE seatpost that has not been cut or altered in any way. Length to rails is 210mm and the actual polished barrel is 180mm. It is a lovely survivor from that era and the 26.8 size is a lot harder to find because it is in demand.
