The big ring on the bike now is backside out- was it worn too much? As of now, the gap between the toothed profiles will be too great.
‘I do have a loose 3 bolt big ring- would send cheap

Thanks, I'm really only including the three bolt crank for originality, if the buyer wants to use it. I wasn't intending to, since chainrings are hard to find. I imagined most buyers would want to use the TA Cyclotouriste triple, or just remove one of the chainrings from it, given the advantage of using the five bolt crank, including availability of rings.

Cheers, thanks for replying.

Would you mind checking the top tube length, center-to-center?

That tubeset has a 57cm top tube. All Competitions from this era have that tubeset.

I was kind of afraid of that, but thank you for confirming. As a tall person, I find that an unusual decision, but hopefully it works for other people.

Top tube measures 57cm ctc and the seat post is 24.5" or about 62cm.

These were measured center-to-top and are about 61cm c-c.
