Do they have to be 36h? I might have a set of 32h Shimano 600 hubs + silver, polished rims in very good condition (can't remember what they are but they are decent quality). PM me if you want more info and I will go a searching in the garage!

Not vintage, but (once you remove the hideous brand sticker) the silver polished version of Sun M13II rims look right on a vintage bike. The couple wheel sets I've done with them built up pretty easily. Cheapest I've found them has been Carson City Bike Shop. IIRC I got them for $25 last time I ordered, looks like they've gone up a bit since.

Add to that, Velo Orange is 20% off through the end of today. One thing to note, the Soma Weymouth rims (hard to beat the current 65%-off sale price..) have a kind of beveled shape to them, sort of like the once-ubiquitous Sun CR-18, and they're on the wider side.
