Black Mountain Cycles Monster Cross 64cm & Katakura Silk Chrome 63cm + Parts - $2,000

I'm hoping to find a good home for these exceptionally well-spec'd bikes and the collection of wonderful accessories that come along with them. There's no overstating how extraordinary the condition is or the care that has been shown in building them out with some of the finest, most beautiful parts available.

Here's a link to the CL listing (the bikes are in San Diego) with tons of photos, and I can happily provide more upon request. But since you're here, below is the full text from the listing. Serious inquiries only, and thanks for looking.

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/...723881054.html

2 bikes and lots of parts. Everything you see in the pictures is included, plus a lot more parts, bolts, cables, housing, spacers, etc.! You get it all. I would guess the total for all of this stuff used is around $4000-$5000, so this is a great value. I want to sell everything together, and that is why I'm offering this large discount over parting everything out. Ideally, I'd love for this stuff to go to another tall person for his/her collection, but if you decide to make a profit by parting it out yourself, more power to you.

The highlights are the 2 bikes.
One is a M-F do it all bike. The design is for "monster cross," but it can also do well for touring, cyclocross, hard pack...you name it.

The other is your weekend show-off, ride fast and smooth bike. A blinged out bike that is timeless.
All parts have been hand-picked and work amazingly.

I’ve occasionally seen chrome Katakura Silks on here before and they always make my heart race a little. Especially in this size…
When I read the specs and quickly panned down, I saw “Compass 700x44” and nearly fainted until I realized it was in the “other parts” section, not part of the Silk’s specs. I don’t think I would have been able to write a check fast enough if 700x44’s actually fit. (Don’t even dare utter the words 650b conversion)

GLWS.
