Unior Bottom Bracket tools

$250 shipped Canada and lower 48 States
Updated as i have added the Unior bottom bracket facing tool, again NOS. That is listed at the bottom.

Clearing out some extra tools.
Selling as I have a mix of Campagnolo, Unior, VAR, Park, Shimano and Hozan and trying to get organized.

New Old Stock Unior 1697 Bottom Bracket Taps (BSA thread) with the blue handles. These were imports as you normally see only orange-handled versions to prevent confusion with Park.
Designed for BSA threads (1.37" x 24 tpi) Left-hand threaded drive side, right-hand threaded non-drive side.
Part of Unior’s modular frame prep tool series (handle compatible with other frame prep tools).
Brand new, unused (New Old Stock) Cutters still wrapped in factory plastic.
In original box.
Box is scuffed.

Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

I actually had to look these up since I didn't see a guide rod or whatever you want to call it. Frankly I don't think I've ever heard of the brand before. Great looking tool though.

I guess there is one, is it in the kit? Video www.facebook.com/share/v/1DCUqmejQY/

Even the pic on their own website doesn't really show it.

It seems that is a separate part. I'll leave the ad up for now and see if I can source one.

Update: I'm getting different info as to if it needs a guide rod or not. I've emailed unior and will report back

Forgot to add this one.

Also NOS

Unior Model 1699 Bottom Bracket Facing Tool

Retail value about $300USD
Unior 1699 Bottom Bracket Facing Tool – NOS

I bought this as I figured it's about $60-70 to get a bottom bracket faced at a bike store and if I did four frames in my life it'd pay for itself and I'd get to keep the tool....

Rare blue handle (not sold in the US anymore due to Park Tool lawsuit)
Original 1699 model – doesn’t require a secondary threaded tool
Includes BSA and Italian guides
New Old Stock, unused condition.
Does not come with cutter. Unior cutters, new from Unior cost less than Park cutters.

$165 mailed lower 48 and Canada

I've got a reply back from Unior stating that they recommend the use of the guide rod. I understand that people do use them without the rod, but I don't have that steady a set of hands, so if I kept it, I'd buy the rod from Unior.

Price is still greatly below what they cost from stores so I'll leave it as is for now.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.

The cutters appear to be encased in protective wax, which suggests that they're either brand-new or have not been used since sharpening. In either case, that's a good sign.
