CLEMENT - GLADIATOR French frames
Can anyone tell me when the Clement and Gladiator bicycles [approximately] went out of production please ?
I suspect that they were the same company in later years ?
Both might have had a connection to Humber cycles in earlier years ?
My guess is that it might have been during the late 1920's or possibly the early 1930's, with Clement going first.
Also, can anyone tell me whether Clement and Gladiator head tube badges had fixing holes at 6 cm. vertical centres ?
I seem to remember seeing a Gladiator badge a long time ago and it might have had three rivet holes with the top two not in any formation with the lower one - but I might be completely wrong !
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
