Happy April 1!
I thought maybe instead of outing the prank threads by replying to them, it might be more fun to post them here. Let the pranks go on...

I have my doubts about this one:https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...l#post17679755

I suppose the real April Fools joke is 'how do you get the Forum to give your post a 4:41am time stamp? No one in his right mind is on C&V at 4:41am!! I'm on at 5:30am eating my bagel before heading out to beat the rush hour traffic (then riding the SRT on the Nishiki by 1:30p).

The Sales forum has some good offerings this morning.

I'm rather busy right now though. Have to tighten the brakes on the Terry so my sweetie can ride on the trainer this morning.

I saw noglider claim he wrapped French-threaded pedals with plumbers tape and installed them in English-threaded crank arms. That must be an April Fool's joke!

Not part of the forum, but this week's Guardian, UC San Diego's student newspaper, had various April Fool stories, including one about the Chancellor tearing down a disputed, dilapidated cafe / hangout venue with his bare hands.

Today I received email from purporting to be from Silca: "Silca Launches Personal Support Drone". Available April 1. Now I'll never worry again about getting stuck without a spare tube or sew-up tire.

Boston Bike Party announced that Concord native Steve Carrell would be joining them. Lot of 40 year old virgin jokes followed.
