I'd guess it's a Trek from the early 80's.
|
i was thinking trek too , but theres nothing on the seat stay end caps .
did trek make some plain ones without ? and no serial number ? |
ok , i went to the vintage trek site and it says all treks have trek embossed somewhere on the frame except the TX900 , which this frame is not .
so its NOT a trek ..... what the heck is it ? maybe not as easy as i thought ..... hmmmm |

http://www.vintage-trek.com/TrekBrochure1982.htm the 412 could fit the bill Another idea: could there have been damage to the rear dropouts, which prompted someone to repair and repaint, leaving the trek embossed nowhere? Also could this be a late Ishiwata/O22? At the end of the period of these models the Ishiwata was dropped. Vintage New Belgian Superia Ishiwata 022 Steel Frame Frameset Campagnolo | eBay |
