Time for a challenge - Help Identifying a Frame

A bike popped up on my local CL and I'm trying to figure out what the frame could be. Unfortunately, it has a pretty horrible paint job on it, but you can see a brand badge on the front. I didn't know if some of you might be able to at least determine a brand with the shape of the badge and the design where the frame "butts." Thanks in advance

Bikes: 1 frame and a heap of pieces

I don't know what brand it but it's not the bottom of the barrel frame. Forged drop outs and DT shifter braze ons are good signs. The components are a mish mash, the crank looks like a Suntour blaze, towards the lower end, the RD looks to be off a MTB. All this with the paint bomb paint job I'd walk away unless it was dirt cheap or free, even then it might only make me pause before walking.

Why are you asking us? Contact the seller. Then get back to us with the brand and we'll be happy to help.

looks like it might be a schwinn headbadge. but, with the paint and the mish-mash of parts--I'd avoid it.

Chromed lugs under the paint?

Not a great bike whatever it is late 80's generic looking lesser mid level frame with yuck Suntour blaze and low end MTB components ghost paint job. I would say avoid this bike not worth figuring out what it is.

this, derailleur is just a cheep department store grade RD though, not necessarily off an MTB. But what is important here is the walk away advice. I would take it for free only.
