Don't know if anyone is having the same concerns. Ever since the advertising was added to this sight its been loading slowly or not loading at all at times. I have to problem with the ads. I just wish it wasn't as quirky

I've noticed the same thing, though hitting F5 generally gets things to load properly.

That's the key. The site either gets dough from adverts or subscribers. So, as they say in Brooklyn, either put up or shut up.

if you use google chrome to can disable flash. you get a puzzle piece icon and if you want whatever it is to run you just click it again. anyway that's what I use at work. my MAC at home doesn't bog down but my window netbook does so I keep a window open for windows task manager and whenever a flash process starts, I end it.

Paying to block ads is a scam. BF is owned by a big hedge fund or whatever. They get plenty of money from advertisers. The money they make from premium memberships is a spit in the bucket. Premium memberships only exist to keep the people who paid way back in the olden days from throwing a fit.

I think what OP was trying to say is that the forum pages load weird, incompletely, or formatted wrong for the window. Not sure what it has to do with the ads, other than it's possible the ads are somehow responsible for the HTML being transmitted or received incompletely.

Does your mobile device log you out every time you close the window that's been running BF? My iPhone did that for awhile. I think I then logged in, bookmarked the page and it stopped doing it.

I'm sure there are costs involved in running this site, and I'm quite happy to pay a few bucks for my using it. If you prefer others to pay that for you that's OK, but having to look at their ads in return seems like a fair deal to me.
