I got a frame from France today. The protection was minimal and it arrived in perfect condition. Not an additional scratch or dent upon it. A while back, I sent a frame to NY. Tubing wrapped in pipe foam, fork and rear drops braced, lots of padding and crush zone. It arrives with a crushed rear drop. Is FedEx responsible even though it is obvious that the box was bashed about? Of course not. And to add insult to injury, there is further damage when I get it returned to me. So the French and American postal system can get a frame across the ocean with no damage and FedEx can't get one to NY from St Louis without damaging it twice.

Reminds me of the old American Tourister commercial where the gorilla tosses several suitcases. Glad your shipment from France was unscathed.
