De Rosa
After so many failed purchases of bikes that just didn't fit, included a De Rosa, I finally found one that fits perfectly. I guess I was in denial that a 56cm squared frame was my size, really needing a much shorter top tube. This winter I plan on building a better set of wheels for the Record hubs, still trying to justify the cost of Super Record rings, but I'm going to swap out the Gran Sport calipers for Super Record for sure.

Looking good!
I'm just glad they made a 55cm square frame. Fits me perfectly.

Nice. While you're building better wheels replace those Ultra Sports too.

This bike actually forces you to ride faster than you want to. I'll plan to just go out on a nice easy ride, and always end up hammering it. It is fun to ride.

sloar - very nice. I hope my next acquisition is a De Rosa. I like the red! Both the Colnago and the Pinarello have the same attribute of running away from me when I get on. I struggle to keep up with them!
An option to SR rings is to do some drillium! I am contemplating the same with a set of NR rings.

If you would like, I have an extra pair of Veloflex Corsas sitting here.
Quite similar to the Veloflex Masters.
Happy to send them along gratis if you would like to try a high performance tire on that nice bike.
Just send me your address and I'll toss them in the mail.

Ultra Sports II have a higher TPI and more supple ride. I like them in 25mm.

DeRosa needs tubulars, FIR or Fiamme or Nisi rims.... and clement seta extra tires.

have a nicely aged pair of Clement Paris Roubaix's I need to put new base tape on,
they're reserved for my DeRosa on FIR rims, campy low flange hubs.
Seta Extras? I wish. could have bought about 10 pair NOS about 15 years ago for a song,
didn't do so regret it now.

Bikes: Yes, Please.
Clement Criterium Seta Extras
Yep, not quite sure what to do with them... Mint with minimal glue 700c and NOS 650c.
Too wide for my 18mm low pro wheels. I don't think they are quite period correct either. how late did they make the green labels? Now if I had 2 full size, then it would be easier.
Definitely a first world problem...
