Completely rusted

There's a Gitane in the n'hood for free - cottered cranks are literally the most rusted object I have ever seen, and the rest of the bike is not far behind.

Still - the bike nut in me says if it's still there on my way home, I should get it....

Nothing but trouble, this obsession.

Sometimes a sandpaper sponge will take off the rust. You may be surprised how easily it comes off.

I see a BB in my future that will never be opened. This is my fear...

We shall see.

...it was gone. Now I'm slightly bummed.

It had stamped drops, suicide levers, that's all I remember.
