Bikes: Im restored now an old bicycle from +/-1950 suposed a French bicycle.
Vintage derailleur Simplex
Hi,
This is my first visit here after registering.
I'm restoring an old French bike I own since the ' 70, I suppose it was manufactured in 50 years, I intend to put a derailleur Simplex Tour de France which is made in the same years, here in Brazil I have difficulty to find, my son is traveling to Paris and later goes to Amsterdam on next week, would like if possible that someone would indicate any bicycle shop or store where I could find this in Paris or Amsterdam, thank you very much if you can help me.

Unless your bike was 20 years old when you acquired it in 1970, a Simplex Tour de France would not be appropriate. Your best bet will be eBay for whatever vintage parts you need.
