The Specialized Turbo S tire was the best non-tubulars. I remember getting more flats then than now but north Ga was once a third world country.

Thankfully I was able to resume riding again (never will be able to match my previous skills) and wish I had a lot of those bikes/parts I sold. And it really hurts when I see some of the parts I just threw in a box and told the buyer to take it sell for serious money,

Moral of the story as Yogi would say, it ain't over til it's over, or unless you really need the money, don't sell it if you like it! Lesson learned.
Finding parts to replace the ones that got away is half the fun. Glad you are back!!!!

C'mon now, the Turbo S wasn't made 4000 years ago. You can't fool me that easily.

Thanks for this thread! I don't like regrets. One of my biggest was riding the Le Champion to work on the day I was hit. Took it out. To be fair, although I liked the quality level and the appearance, I was never really comfortable on it like I was on the UO-8 that I road previously. A regretful sale.
But for me, it was a way to experience an Italian bike as the Le Champion provided funds to search for a replacement. Shown below with the DD seat post. Drillium Dude, if I didn't so desperately want to build this with all SR components, I would have returned the post!

We needed pics, right? I will not regret selling this as I won't!

Some Ambrosio tubular rims. I'm sure there are more out there, but I can't find them.

No regrets. Only slight nostalgic torment.
