Harvey Golden is considered one of the experts on traditional kayaks. He's taken lines (measured) hundreds, and built a few hundred himself. He works out of his home.

Show this to your SO when they complain about a bicycle on the wall.

This guy is a sweetheart for allowing his wife to share his workshop. Some of us are married to our soulmate, most of us are just married.

Or maybe just track bikes, as owning a collection doesn't necessarily mean that it gets used.

I just re-did my home office where I kept a rotation of vintage bikes hanging on the wall for the last few years. I now have two bikes in my "cave" with one on a trainer. I like the gravity stands!

I can hang all the bikes I want in the garage, as long as she can park her car inside. The basement is okay, too. Living areas of the house are off limits. I know better than to even ask. I think the most I could get away with would be a shadow box with a few shiny bits.
