Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

These are way cool bikes. I like the photos in the French countryside as well. I've toured most of Western Europe and for my money, France is the best country to tour in. Lots of great tertiary roads that are well marked, beautiful scenery, the traffic volume is reasonable to low, and the food is obviously excellent.

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

The black and white just doesn't do much for me. Neither does the mixte, or the one that's obviously too small for me.

That said. I'd love to ride one of each for a day, and the French countryside does sound like the right place to do so.

The shop in his photostream, La Bicyclette, looks like a great place to hang out.
