Anybody recognize this frame?

I got this from a friend. He wasn't sure if it was an actual Curtlo or not so I emailed Doug Curtiss and sent him pics. Verdict is he did not build this one so it indeed is NOT a Curtlo. There are some interesting things about this frame like the seat tube lug. There is a slot for the brake cable to run through. The frame looks to be well made with nice clean welds. It is also pretty light. The other thing I notice is the seat tube transitions to ovalized where it meets the bottom bracket. I'm kinda thinking this was a nice frame. Maybe not Curtlo nice but possibly a custom build trying to copy certain Curtlo aspects perhaps. I don't know. Does anyone have a hunch on what this is? Mass manufacturer or not, I would like to know. Thanks

EDIT: this is a 1991 Parkpre 925 Team frame. Tange Ultimate Ultralight.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

You might try cross-posting this in another forum branch such as C & V - even if it is a 1991 as I suspect.
Many helpful folks over there who have seen a lot of frames.

Nice frame on its own merits, shame someone felt it needed fake transfers. LOVE the seat cluster!

The serial number format definitely looks "production line", but that cable slot in the seat cluster is like nothing I've ever seen. That's got to be a dead giveaway.

That's what I was thinking. It should be obvious.. but every bike guy I know that I have showed it to has no idea.

The one thing throwing me is the slot in the lug and the massively oversized recessed binder bolt. I've seen a few Ritchey frames that look close:

I thought I'd refresh this one more time to see if this frame is familiar to anyone. Still don't know, but all the Curtlo decals are gone and it's on it's way to a Suntour MD drive train.

After hours of looking, I found out the exact model. It is a 1991 Parkpre 925 Team. Tange Ultimate Ultralight tubing.
