A Sparrow for Drillium Dude
Saw this today at a semi-local bike swap:

Thought the color was terrific. Did not ask a price, as it was too small for me, and I felt he was overpriced on the one bike he had that I was interested in.
The Sparrow needed all the consumables replaces, and a full overhaul.

How cool - only the third I've ever seen (not in person, though - I've only seen mine in person). I note this one has a Columbus SL/SP tubing decal (looks like the one used up until 1979/80) and I don't see any fender eyelets, either. No braze-ons rear brake cable guides or gear lever bosses. So another race frame. I like the looks of the fork rake here; mine seems to have too severe a rake vice this smoother transition.

I was saddened I couldn't make an offer on DD's while available.

I never did ask the price, but I would guess the $1000 range, needing a full overhaul. Did DD finally sell his?

Nope, not yet. But I've been slow in getting updated pics and making a local CL listing. I guess I'm in no big hurry

@Drillium Dude, can you pm me the link to the CL ad?

I'll get 'round to it, but I'm thinking I will wait until spring. I'm not in a super-big hurry to unload this one, though it's next on the list to make my collection more manageable.
