Bikes you love (to look at)
I just realized I have this weird thing with my Trek 560 that I mostly just like to build it up and look at it more than ride it. I don't totally get it but it probably has some thing to do with the fact that I have almost no money in it and I like riding my carbon bike more (gasp!). Anyone else have a bike they've basically built up more times than they've put miles on it but just can't let it go?

i've fully rebuilt this one three times in about six years:
it has hundreds of miles on it. it will be the last to go. it's just too useful.

Forty three years of "beausage" and the Grandis is the only one of my old bikes where the chips and scratches actually seem to make it look better.
The Campy NR and burnished Brooks really tie that room together. As much fun to use as to look at, though. This one gets it's share of miles.

Always one of my favorites on the forum.
What's not to like!
I have a few that I like to gawk at on occasion.
Here's my 1980 McLean when I brought it home. I'm updating several things before I hit the road with it this season.

I'm also a sucker for Chris Kvale's work.

I've also got a thing for Roland Della Santa's work. All business!
My son has been riding the wheels off this one.

Just posted this on another thread. Pure perfection:
I'm usually not a SS/FG type of guy. But I'd ride this one like I stole it for sure...

Basically, I feel this way about any bicycle equipped with Campagnolo Delta brakes. Pretty to look at but not for riding.

I have been torn about spending to have a full C bike with those being a big part of the equation.
