Converting an old SA three speed into a faux drop bar racer, like why? It made sense and now it makes no sense.

Something like that. I have two bikes like this - both actually flat where the kickstand was... and rusted.

Bikes: 2023 Canyon Endurace 7 CF Di2, 1982 Trek 957 (retro), 80s Trek 710 (retro), 1995 Trek 930 MTB (singlespeed), Surly LHT

Cutting the derailleur hanger and knocking the cable housing guides off a Reynolds 531 Trek frame. The hanger was re-welded on and I'm soon having the guides rebrazed.

Wherever it's taken, it does look nice now. It's like a flashback to the starting line circa 1982. I had that silly yello cello tape. The only thing sort of out of place is the Brooks. The only people riding Brooks at that time were rich doctors and lawyers, everyone else used Turbos or maybe a concor. But considering the fancy street, everything is just right...

I wish! The road would be lined with C&V if that were the case! Behind the TT is a control access gate for the townhouse complex.
