A metallic green lighter than the op's sample but not so celeste as RAL 6019. I once did a bike in such a color and got complements all the time.

I would go with the original factory color...yeah I know, I'm such a drag.

Totally off-topic for this thread but thanks for the color chart. Might you know if Bottecchia may have used one of these colors way back when?
From what I can gather from Wikipedia, RAL appears to have started out as a German color standard-bearer in 1927. Was there ever an Italian version that might have still been in use during the 80's?
I need to touch up the paint on an 80's Bottecchia bike but have gotten nowhere with my inquiries about which precise color to use. Bottecchia has changed ownership since then and such information has been lost.
If they used a standard color then it would be a good bet it was one of these.

That chart is just something I grabbed off the web. I'm afraid I don't have any special historical knowledge. I would search for a picture of the bike you want to match and go from there.

It seems to work pretty nicely on the Vigorelli in Celeste. Actually, that Vigorelli might look a little less distinctive in a silver crank.
I have a bike done with 6019. It's a nice color, a bit yellower than Celeste I would say, although that varied over the years. For whatever reason, I feel like it might not work as well with black components as some other colors.

Bikes: IRO Mark V, Karate Monkey half fat, Trek 620 IGH, Cannondale 26/24 MTB, Amp Research B3, and more.
The important thing is to have all your bikes be the same color. This aids in disguising the exact number of bikes you have.

I think red bikes are faster. I powder coated my Peugeot a few years ago.
