1972 Fuji Newest identification

Need help idenifng a bike I just got. I think it is a 1972 Fuji Racer "Newest" . Looks like it has been modified a little from original. will post picture if i am able. Silver with crome lugs, FUJI RACER on down tube , nothing on top tube, "ever onward" on rear tubes, looks like the seat (UNICANTOR leather) tires wennian , ayaya 27 1/4 clinchers with Campolono Record hubs, Suntour Vista GT - V rear derailure, compe -v from derailure, handlebars , unversade 105, bar end shifters, aftermarket grips (morgan) . SCCR2000 tires 1 1/8 630 iso. suntour pedal. Surgino cranks. Anyone have any ideas what is original and what is not I would be glad to hear from you. Serial number is K7A02019. I don't know how to upload the pictures, sorry. some are too big

Well, looks like you figured out how to upload pics! For specs, see the '72 Fuji catalog page for the Newest.

yep, looks like a '72. Non original parts are the wheel set, saddle and bar end shifters. They are very nice riding bikes! Here's mine that has non original parts, but they're Japanese. The frame came to me from nlerner and had been stripped of it's original paint. I added replacement decals ..

Thanks for all the info. I bought this to turn it into a gravel grinder, because my nashbar 3000t from 1993 is too large a frame. but this might be to nice for that purpose. What do you think it is worth ( i know that is a different forum but dont know have to treansfer the tread). I would rather see collectors use it than me tear it up an ruin it. any help with this descison would be greatly appreciated.

Here's mine, a 75 I believe. The previous owner stripped much of the paint. Yes, VERY nice riding bikes! Love this bike. I need to do the paint on it one of these days.,,,,BD
